The Bradford Hills Shopping
Center located in the southeast corner of the Manchester Road and Clarkson
Road/Kiefer Creek Road intersection in Ellisville, Missouri is getting a much need
“shot in the arm”. Gold’s Gym, the
national fitness gym chain, recently signed a lease to occupy 35,000 square feet of the
60,000 square feet of space previously occupied by Gordman’s.
Gordman’s was one of several tenant’s which closed their doors or relocated from the Bradford Hills Shopping Center in the past couple of years. Other notable departures include: Shoe Carnival (9,000 SF) which moved 2.45 miles west to a new store in Ballwin in March 2013 and Frailey’s Pub & Grill (3,900 SF) which closed it’s doors in July 2013.
Gold’s Gym currently operates seven locations
throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area in Florissant, Maryland Heights,
Fenton, Manchester, St. Peters, O’Fallon (MO), and O’Fallon (IL). The location’s in St.
Peters and both O’Fallon, Illinois and Missouri are newer, free standing
buildings constructed between 2005 and 2007 with a 38,000 square foot floor
plate. The remaining locations occupy
between 19,000 and 39,900 square feet of in-line retail space similar to the one in Ellisville.
